Toby has practised as a stamp taxes specialist for 22 years and has lead the stamp taxes group at Deloitte for 6 of those years.
His group particularly concentrates on commercial property transactions, including sale and leasebacks, securitisations, lease regearings, joint ventures, fund seedings and development schemes. They have advised extensively on the complex regimes applying to residential property.
His clients are spread across a range of sectors but include REITs, life insurers, fund managers, housing associations and housebuilders. He is a member of Council for the Stamp Taxes Practitioners Group.
