James is Head of Fund Management and Tax at United Students. He overseas the tax affairs for a FTSE 250 plc, a £2bn property fund and £1bn property joint venture with GIC. James joined Unite in 2014 to form a new in-house tax team based in Bristol and last year he managed the group’s conversion to REIT status.
James has 17 years experience in real estate tax, specialising in the student accommodation sector and is a member of the BPF’s Tax Committee.
